Mercy Ama Awuah Agtuahene is a Physiotherapist with 13 years of experience working with diverse patient populations. She holds an MSc in Public Health Promotion from the Leeds Beckett University, UK as a Commonwealth Scholar and BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She currently works at the National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burn Centre, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Driven by a passion for knowledge sharing, Mercy is a clinical educator at the University of Ghana and University of Allied Health Sciences, and volunteers as faculty with Interburns, a UK charity that provides burn care training and research in low and middle income countries.

She is passionate about social determinants of health and their impact on rehabilitation. As a member of the scientific committee, she brings extensive experience and expertise to develop a comprehensive program showcasing innovative research and practices.
